Ta’Kaiya Blaney is a singer and environmental activist from Tla A’min Nation, British Columbia, Canada. She has been advocating for change and speaking at UN meetings, TED conferences and public rallies since she was 10.  She says “In my culture it’s a fact, and an understanding of life, that everything is connected, and we were put on this earth to be stewards and caretakers of the environment”.
